The Old Studebaker Truck

When my husband was a kid, he used to play on this old truck in Imperial Valley, a desert area of southern California. I thought this would be a good subject for a painting so I did a watercolor of it, and it was accepted in a national exhibition in Houston TX in 1980. As for some  history of the old Studebaker White, later after the painting had been done, the radiator got stolen off the truck as well as some other damages done to it by vandals. It is another situation for my list of things that have happened to something after I did a painting of it!
