That Mural

mural-in-the-baptistry1When I was a little kid I loved that mural in the church baptistery in back of the choir area. I would just drool over it and dream of being able to paint something that beautiful, such a simple landscape from this black and white photo taken in the 1950’s. I don’t even know who painted it, but I would guess maybe Ralph Love did. Anyway, here I am up in my years, a landscape painter and I can do just that! Paint landscapes on location, (plein air),my dream come true. My next story will be about the landscapes my dad painted in his younger years.
