Missouri Barn

Copy of Missouri BarnI forgot to mention this particular painting of the barn in my previous post. It is an oil painting done with a limited palette and using a palette knife to paint with. It is nice to be able to create different paintings using the same barn. This limited palette consisted of a certain red, yellow and blue plus white. I like the results very much, and started this painting as a demonstration at the Foothills Art Association meeting, of which I am a member, and love to demo for them. Though the painting didn’t get finished for the demo they were glad to see it hanging in the gallery as a finished one.
