Home on the hill

I was only 5 yrs. old when I moved to this house upon the hill, in Pomona, CA, a big house with 7 bedrooms upstairs, and I remember doing my first watercolor when I was just 8 yrs. old.  I copied a picture from my story book, and was quite surprised how well it turned out.

My family (of four kids, parents and grandma) lived here until I left for college.

This particular painting of this house was done while I was in high-school.

How I knew to finish the painting with ink lines, I don’t even remember, but I kind of like that style of art.

This is my very first blog and I am so excited to share how my life began as an artist.  More stories later.
