When I would go to visit my parents in Missouri there was an old barn that I photographed on the way to their place in the Ozarks. I used this barnĀ in some of my paintings. It was interesting to watch this barn change through the years, but never got another photo taken of the changes. I used it in an oil painting with one of the methods that I learned from Dottie Billiu.
Another time I did a watercolor of it when I got real inspired on how to make a boring photo become a dramatic painting. I don’t know how I did it, but I like what I did!
